Oltre lo zenit
quando l’alba
depone le vestigia della notte
e innalza lo stendardo del giorno
dove il tramonto
ammaina le vele del giorno
per issare il mistero della notte
oltre il confine della luce
sul sottile pulviscolo
atomi di atmosfera
non visti
tramonto e alba
si mescolano
si fondono
confondono
e allontanano
all’ora designata.

Beyond the zenith
when the dawn
lays the vestiges of the night
and raises the standard of the day
where the sunset
lower the sails of the day
to hoist the mystery of the night
beyond the border of light
on the fine dust
atoms of atmosphere
not seen
sunset and sunrise
they mix
merge
confused
and move away
at the designated time.
