La vita
è un percorso
fatto di salite
e discese
di monti con le valli e pianure
di scalini
che a volte si sale
a volte si scende
si dice sempre in ascesa
ma ci sono le verità delle discese
e talvolta
lungo la via
di salita passo dopo passo
come una scala
avviene
una rovinosa caduta
ti trovi in fondo
fracassato
eppure
in te si alza
una forza che ti rialza
e
sebbene come cocci aguzzi sparsi
ti ricomponi
più saldo di prima
e
immancabilmente
riparti per il tuo cammino
costi quel che costi
dove vuoi arrivare.
Attenzione agli ascensori
– le vie facili –
che possono inibire e appassire
il bello travolgente della forza di volontà.
E se l’ascensore si blocca
non hai scampo
e renderai conto
della scelta.

it’s a path
made of climbs
and descents
of mountains with valleys and plains
of steps
that sometimes goes up
sometimes it goes down
it is always said to be on the rise
but there are the truths of the descents
and sometimes
on the way
climb step by step
like a stair
happens
a ruinous fall
you are at the bottom
smashed
but yet
in you rises
a force that raises you
is
though like scattered shards
you reassemble yourself
more balance than before
is
invariably
leave for your journey
whatever it takes
where you want to go.
Beware of elevators
– easy routes –
which can inhibit and wither
the overwhelming beauty of will power.
And if the elevator stops
you have no escape
and you will realize
of choice.
