Questa tecnica di coltivazione è sempre stata attuata nelle coltivazioni domestiche come antica tradizione tramandata dalla saggezza dei tempi: biodiversità a tutela e ricchezza del terreno e dei frutti derivati, creando combinazioni che arricchivano il terreno invece che impoverirlo come nella coltivazione industriale, che rafforzavano le difese immunitarie delle piante stesse grazie alle essenze specifiche delle diverse piante, a garanzia anche dell’allontanamento di parassiti.
