ormeggi ormeggiati;
le alture di chi scala,
come navigatori al loro mare;
s’infrangono sulle coste le onde,
cime innevate;
ombre sottili di spogliate chiome,
e tutto intorno tace,
sussultando nel profondo la Terra.

moored moorings;
the heights of those who climb,
as navigators at their sea;
the waves break on the shores,
snow-capped peaks;
subtle shadows of bare treetops,
and all around is silent,
